We crafted this cinematic trailer for War of Legions and our friends at ATeam.

"War of Legions" is a guild battle RPG for smartphones that lets players from around the globe fight against each other in real time. Players must cooperate and strategize with their allies to link together chain attacks and become the strongest guild in the world. The game also allows features to customize their battle formations using pairs of two kinds of characters: monsters and warriors. The impressive visuals and vast lineup of over 5000 characters helped War of Legions climb the Japanese App Store charts, landing it the #1 Free App ranking less than two weeks after it was released.

For the trailer, we wanted to make it fantastic visually and focused on classic fantasy tropes in action: dragons, elementals, fire, ice. The challenge, however, was to bring something fresh to the classic tropes and this we accomplished with the unique environments that serve as back drop to the main action. With the help of cinematic camera angles, cross cuts, and a good understanding of its setting, we managed to achieve an epic battlefield where your enemy could show up in front of you at the least expected moment. This is a tribute to the gameplay itself depicting its battle nature.
