Animated TV Commercial made for Forge of Empires, developed and published by our client Innogames. Forge of Empires is a widely recognized and well known browser-based strategy game. The game allows players to create a city and develop it from the Stone Age and onward through the centuries.

The commercial opens its story with Bert and Berta. The two iconic characters of Forge of Empires discover a time travel machine that takes them on a journey full of adventure. This journey levels up in different eras of history: Stone age, Industrial Age, and Futuristic scapes are all shown in this ad as our characters travel across them. They also take their pet with them, Pterodactyl, with its signature look changing with each era where the machine takes them.

Working closely with Innogames on this animated commercial, Puppetworks created an ad that features dynamic epoch transitions mirroring game transitions from the stone age to the space age and gives the player a sense of how they will progress through the game. Broadcast on many different TV channels in Europe and USA, and many different social platforms, the commercial has received great visibility from a wide range audience.
