Cinematic trailer for Lords Mobile, an MMORTS game developed and published by IGG. Puppetworks took the role of producing a full 3D CGI animation.

The trailer revolves around 4 main characters; amidst the mayhem on the battlefield, a love quadrangle develops and leads to an unexpected conclusion. When we approached development, given the nature of the game, we thought the characters called for a bit of a funny treatment but we also wanted to reveal some of their personalities. This would give players the chance to connect with the game more.

We worked with IGG to set up funny, memorable situations based on the characteristics of the heroes and on some features of the game itself. Creating the facial expressions for a deeper emotional connection is always a challenge, but we managed to make an emotive, impactful trailer that has millions of hits online.

With over 65 million players worldwide, the game is one of the top grossing strategy apps available. In 2016, Lords Mobile won the Google Play Awards for "Best Competitive Game" and in 2017 it was nominated for "Best Multiplayer Game." We're proud of having created such a premium marketing asset for Lords Mobile.
