Silence: The Whispered World 2 is the sequel to The Whispered World, a point-and-click adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment. The game follows a young girl, Renie, who is lost in a magical realm. Her older brother Noah then sets out to rescue her.

Created from previz to final composite at Puppetworks, the trailer is a condensed form of the story as viewers are introduced to Renie and her brother when they embark on a journey into the magical realm.

With a tragic story like this, it surely was not an easy come - easy go task to find the right ways to execute this project. Stepping out of the box, we had to come up with ways to tell this heroic and longing journey between the two siblings with our best practice in cinematic trailers.

We highlighted the emotions in each scene, imitating the daylight in a way that it represents the bittersweet melancholy of the lost sister. We took our cameras into action and gave them impactful angles and uplifted the experience of reading the emotions of the character by using facial animation tricks. Portraying their emotions of longing and searching for each other even more significantly, we achieved the premium quality needed to launch this product into the market.
